In use, the size of Logitech VX Nano is small but not tiny so it remains comfortable to use which is the downfall of so many other notebook mice. Since it’s battery operated, we gave the internal battery our extreme drain test which involves the mouse being used at a continuous basis* to drain the battery, recharging it and continuing the process to simulate how long the batteries life would be for the average person. End result is about a year, which is excellent. Included with the Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse is a small USB adapter / Nano Receiver that slides into your USB port to receive the cordless signal from the VX Nano mouse. Now when I say it’s small, I mean really small. It’s about the size of a nickel! It fits into the USB port perfectly and shouldn’t fall out if you choose to leave it in. Or you can store it inside the mouse if you want to. In summary, if you’re looking for a small cordless laser notebook mouse that you will enjoy using, get yourself a Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse. Available Here: Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser Laptop Mouse @ NotebookCoolingPads.com *on a moving surface Do you travel with your notebook? Ever feel like it’s going to catch on fire from the heat it creates? Well we’ve got the perfect notebook cooling pads for you. The Xpad Slim is a much needed updated of the original Xpad. The Xpad Slim is wider but thinner which make it much more functional. Add a couple more esthetic changes and extra vents and you have what we believe is one of the best notebook cooling pads at a very affordable price. The Xpad Slim kept our notebooks and laptops about 15 degrees cooler than normal operation and has excellent spacing so that you can use your computer in bed. Anyone that’s used a notebook on their bed knows that the blankets blocks venting which cause even more heat so we appreciate the overall design of this model. As well, this notebook cooling pad is highly portable. There are two drawbacks that we noticed. The first is that the Xpad Slim has little room for using a PC mouse. It works but it’s tight! If your primary goal is using a PC style mouse on your notebook you might want to consider a bigger cooling pad. But if your primary goal is portability, this is the one to get and since notebooks and laptops are supposed to be highly portable, we like this model. The second drawback is that the Xpad Slim has a bit of a rubbery smell to it. It’s called “offgassing” which is the evaporation of volatile chemicals. Don’t panic, that new car smell and new rug smell are from the same proccess but it’s something to consider! We left ours a few in the sample room for 5 days and the rubbr smell did go away so it’s not permanent! In all, the Xpad Slim is a very good performer. If it weren’t for the temporary smell we’d give it five stars, but we’re giving it a 4-out-of-5. When my third blender literally exploded into pieces when I was trying to make a smoothie I realized that big box retailers don’t offer blenders that have the strength to crush ice. And if they can’t do that, how well are they doing with anything else! Heck, if you want to stir something quickly you can do it by hand. My goal was to make smoothies that I had been purchasing for $4 a piece every morning on the way to the office. So I looked to see what they had in the coffee shop! And viola, it was a Blentec blender. There model was much more intense than this one, since it featured splash shields and sound surpressors that resembled SWAT team bullet proof shields, so I figure I’d tone it down a bit and find the next best thing. And since those models were around $1000.00, I wasn’t biting. The Blendtec HP3a is about $399. But wait, it’s worth it and don’t think you’re compromising an ounce with the Blentec HP3a because it has the same powerful motor and blade that the coffee shop uses. It’s in a more consumer friendly size and without the SWAT team gear. This home version comes with an really cool recipe book too which by the way has a great pancake recipe in it. As for the smoothies, they are absolutely perfect. They are identical to the the $4 ones I was buying and so far I’ve made 96 of them and the Blendtec HP3a has basically laughed synically at the ice every time it turned on. And if you think I jot down how many smoothies I make, guess again because this blender actually counts how many times you use it which exception of the “pulse blend” button. If you’re mixing soup, this blender has to much juice for you (pun intended) but if you want to be making store quality smoothies, fresh juices or blend your cars engine components into powdered dust (don’t do that, ever), get one, it’s well worth the investment and officially pays for itself in 100 uses. Which for me will be a total of 40 days! Quick math. 1 year of smoothies at 4 bucks a pop equls $1460.00 a year. This blender is a whopping $399.00. Now add the gas to go to the coffee shop and the time spent going there and you’ve got it paying for itself in no time. Other’s might say buy a “VitaMix” blender which by all means are great blenders but trust me, I’ve done my research and if Starbucks uses Blendtec to make their Vivanno smoothies on a commercial basis hundreds of times a day, they are the ones I want in my home. Read more about the Blendtec HP3a Home Blender RECIPE: Just because I enjoyed it here’s a a recipe for a smoothie I made tonight. 1 whole banana, 3/4 cup of chocolate milk, 8 whole ice-cubes (varies on your cube size, start with less, add more as needed) and the pressing of the “smoothie” button. It was awseome! And cost be about 30 cents! This is one of our favorite toasters. Not only because it gives you perfect toaster every time but the slanted design makes it easy to use when space is a concern. Normally we would be concerned about the price, however having delicious toast versus crappy toast makes it worth the premium. Our only hangup is that the setting knob seems a bit loose. It works perfectly fine it simply gives us the idea that it could have got bumped out of setting. If you’re not a knob bumber, need a toaster that doesn’t need to be moved from under a cubbord to get your toast out and want excellent toast then we recommend you read more at myToasters.com Read More about the T-Fal TT7461002 Toaster Buy: Fuel PS3, Fuel Xbox 360, Fuel PC In FUEL players race across and explore the world’s largest racing environment – over 5,000 square miles of spectacular wilderness.
